Health and Wellness Coach
I'm a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I'm also a mom to three children. After birthing three children, I have been working hard for the past 10 years to keep my body healthy, my mind sound, and my soul nourished. Giving birth to my children took such a toll on my body, and my self-esteem. I struggle(d) with diastasis recti—a separation of the abdominal wall—but have worked hard to learn to love my stomach and body again in its new form and reconnect with my body. I lost 80 lbs in one year and have kept the weight off for the past seven years.
I don’t always find the right time to shower, never pee alone, I sometimes eat standing up, and I can’t remember the last time I had the house to myself.
I love my kids and want to be the healthiest mom I can be. I love lifting heavy things. I also love yoga more so to keep my mind sound. My kids say I’m a good “cook”. And, like all moms, I wish there were more hours in a day to get more done. In my spare time (laugh, I create healthy recipes.
My mission is to help moms regain their strength, confidence, and cultivate a nourishing, trusting, peaceful and relaxed relationship with food and body.
Let’s get real, it isn’t easy to prioritize yourself after you become a mother. You are too busy loving everyone else except you. It is hard to make healthy eating choices when you are exhausted, and it is even harder to find the motivation to exercise.
My holistic, weight-neutral, non-diet approach focuses on developing life-enhancing, pleasurable, and sustainable self-care practices. Helps you more attuned to your internal cues of hunger and fullness; stop chronic dieting; release food rules, guilt, and shame; reduce craving, emotional eating, and overeating; experience greater satisfaction from eating and movement; and most importantly, discover how to best nourish your unique body.
